Balanced Dog Trainer

We are seeking an experienced (min 7yrs) balanced trainer that can communicate effectively with both dogs and clients. Our team has an excellent reputation within our community and is presently building our services to include group socialization walks and group training. Currently, we provide private training, off leash group walks, afternoon playgroups as well as overnight boarding and housesitting.



The ideal candidate must be proficient in the following



Obedience training

Behaviour modification

Private lessons

Group lessons

Experience of service dog training would be an asset





The ideal candidate must be



Passionate

Confident

Good time management skills

Able to work independently

Strong communication skills

Ability to manage group & private / home training sessions





Within your role as trainer you will be expected to:



Work independently and as part of a small team

Teach private lessons in clients home

Teach/Support our local Humane Society

Support the Day Care and Boarding groups as needed

Manage your own schedule



Salary and Benefits



Starting Salary - CI$33,600 (USD $40,300) + Commission



We also provides a health insurance policy, pension plan contributions and 2 weeks statutory vacation/ year.
